AstaPure astaxanthin now has the green light for an even longer shelf life-four years at room temperature.
AstaPure astaxanthin now has the green light for an even longer shelf life-four years at room temperature-due to stability data announced by supplier Algatechnologies (Kibbutz Ketura, Israel). The company says this shelf life surpasses those of other astaxanthin brands.
The recommendation comes from more than four years of the company’s own real-time stability studies. It tested how various environmental conditions, including air, heat, and light, affect the concentration of astaxanthin in finished products.
“In light of the impressive results of the study, we are able to extend AstaPure’s shelf life at room temperature with complete confidence, providing that the packages remain sealed in their original containers,” said Oran Ayalon, PhD, the company’s R&D director, in a press release. He said refrigeration helps improve shelf-life conditions even further.
AstaPure is a microalgae-derived, 10% astaxanthin oleoresin.
