Ingredient supplier Nature’s Power Nutraceuticals (NP Nutra; Gardena, CA) is expanding its warehouse space. Under the new lease agreement, the company will take over an additional building in Gardena, CA, adjoining its existing facilities. According to the company, the new lease extension means that it will have tripled its warehouse space in two years.
Mark Campbell, COO, NP Nutra, said that the company was able to successfully negotiate the lease extension based on a strong year of sales growth.
“NP Nutra’s Q1 2018 results were up a staggering 40% over the same period last year, demonstrating that our company is growing at a fast yet steady pace,” he said. “This strong start to the year was a clear indication to us that the company will easily surpass its 2017 growth projection of 22%. We found it necessary to take steps to fully support this growth and consequently, we are in the process of evaluating all our resources and increasing staff.”
Added Eric Guggenheim, director of sales, NP Nutra: “Our customers value NP Nutra’s strong commitment to supply nutraceutical products which have been carefully sourced to meet the highest quality standards and comprehensively tested to ensure product consistency and safety.”
