Women in Nutrition Education (Part 4): From a DEI standpoint, what are some groups that are underrepresented in the nutrition or nutraceuticals study fields?

At this year’s SupplySide West, Women in Nutraceuticals (WIN) held a reception where it announced the first honorees of the WIN Awards.

According to the organization’s press release, the awards program is designed to “celebrate the remarkable contributions and achievements of those who champion gender equity, drive research innovations, excel in mentorship within the nutraceutical sector, and significantly contribute to WIN’s programs.”

According to the report, over the last decade, women have made important gains at every level of the corporate pipeline, but the progress is “fragile.”
