Women in Nutrition Education (Part 3): Are there any gender differences in terms of the ratio of females to males being trained in nutrition sciences or the nutraceuticals industry?

At this year’s SupplySide West, Women in Nutraceuticals (WIN) held a reception where it announced the first honorees of the WIN Awards.

According to the organization’s press release, the awards program is designed to “celebrate the remarkable contributions and achievements of those who champion gender equity, drive research innovations, excel in mentorship within the nutraceutical sector, and significantly contribute to WIN’s programs.”

According to the report, over the last decade, women have made important gains at every level of the corporate pipeline, but the progress is “fragile.”
