The 80% curcumin formula is combined with vanillin (from vanilla), and gingerols (from ginger) for enhanced curcumin bioavailability.
Unibar Corp. (Houston) will debut its CurQnetic curcumin ingredient at October’s SupplySide West show. The 80% curcumin formula is combined with vanillin (from vanilla), and gingerols (from ginger) for enhanced curcumin bioavailability.
“Curcumin extract currently in the marketplace is 95% total curcuminoids,” says Unibar president Sevanti Mehta. “These curcumin products appear to have poor absorption, distribution, excretion, and rapid metabolism, creating a need for an enhanced-bioavailabile ingredient.”
The company claims its in vitro and in vivo studies support immune function and inflammatory response support with CurQnetic.
