Ribbon blenders from Charles Ross & Son Company (Hauppauge, NY)-which are well-suited for the rapid blending of dry powders, granules, paste-like materials, solid-liquid supsensions, pellets, and other solid forms-are now available with several new optional features. These include new scrapers, shaft seals, and agitator shafts.
Pictured above is the model 42N-120SS ribbon blender from Charles Ross, which clocks in at a 120 cu. ft. of stainless steel. It is now available with the following new features:
Ross ribbon blenders use a horizontal agitator to blend materials, complete with inner and outer helical ribbons in a U-shaped trough. The ribbons are pitched to precisely move materials in a balanced axial and radial flow pattern, the firm explains.
