In a March 20, 2025, press release, Radicle Science announced Dr. Rob Sinnott as senior strategic advisor. He has more than 25 years’ experience in biotechnology, with past roles including Chief Scientific Officer and CEO for Mannatech Inc. and Chief Scientific Officer for USANA Health Sciences, Inc. Additionally, he is co-chair of the Senior Scientific Advisory Council for the Council of Responsible Nutrition (CRN).
"We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Rob Sinnott to the Radicle Science Advisory Board as we continue to accelerate innovation and scale our impact," said Pelin Thorogood, co-founder and executive chair, and Jeff Chen, MD/MBA, co-founder and CEO of Radicle Science, in the press release. "Rob's expertise in scientific innovation, his understanding of international markets, and his deep industry insights will help us further empower our clients with AI-driven, evidence-based research, fueling the rapid creation of wellness products that are clinically validated to be truly effective and personalized.”
"I believe scientific proof and validation are the most important sustainable advantages for wellness products that stand the test of time and create a growing, loyal consumer base,” stated Dr. Sinnott. “When products work as promised, it drives consumer trust and repeat purchasing. Prior to Radicle Science, dietary supplement clinical studies had been one-off affairs, small and very expensive, often with directional, but not necessarily conclusive data. Radicle Science changed all that. Companies can now gain precision insights into the effectiveness of their wellness formulations affordably and at never before seen speed and scale."
Earlier this month at Natural Products Expo West 2025, Radicle Science debuted the health impact tracker Journey by Radicle Science2. The tracker helps provide insights for wellness brands on consumer behavior and offers consumers personalized data on the effects of the products on their health goals.
In an interview with Nutritional Outlook at Expo West, Thorogood explained the benefits of Journey by Radicle Science: “The primary benefit of Journey is really through reminders and through engagement, really improving adherence of the product usage, which, of course, naturally improves the biological benefit of product. They also have the opportunity to show the real-world effects of their product to individual consumers in real time, demonstrating how their product works for their unique bodies and conditions. It really creates engagement, it creates a new level of trust between consumer and brand, and at the end of the day improves both sales velocity and repeat purchases.”
“By leveraging AI to analyze large-scale health data, Radicle Science uncovers subtle trends and identifies the consumer segments most likely to benefit," stated Dr. Sinnott, in the press release. "It's a game changer. And, it's precisely their groundbreaking approach to democratizing scientific validation and elevating the standards of the wellness industry to improve human health that compelled me to join Radicle Science."
Founded in 2021, Radicle Science has the largest clinical trials on supplements, studying more than 70,000 Americans.
Radicle Science is also the latest recipient of Nutritional Outlook's Best of the Industry award for Service Provider.
