Stevia supplier PureCircle (Chicago) has forged a multiyear, global distribution agreement with flavor and fragrance supplier Firmenich for PureCircle’s NSF-02 flavor modifier, which is now part of the company’s PureCircle Flavors product line.
NSF-02 is designed for use with PureCircle’s stevia products, Reb A and SG-95, as well as with sugar or high-fructose corn syrup. It modifies the flavor of stevia products, enhancing sweetness and taste. According to PureCircle, NSF-02 “delivers a range of better-tasting, low-cost, natural product formulations, with reduced calories.”
Firmenich retains exclusive rights to commercialize NSF-02, as both a stand-alone ingredient or within its own flavor systems, while PureCircle maintains rights to continue distributing NSF-02 to specific accounts.
