Food ingredients supplier Prinova (Carol Stream, IL) announced that it is relocating its corporate headquarters from Carol Stream, IL, to Hanover Park, IL. The company says that it is relocating its corporate headquarters to accommodate the company’s value-added ingredient portfolio and to support its “expansive growth.”
Specifically, the new facility will include 350,000 square feet, a new warehouse, 10,800 pallet positions, 24 docks, increased office space, and LED lighting throughout the facility. In addition, the new headquarters will be kosher, FDA, and BRC certified, the company says.
Prinova says that it will maintain its existing Carol Streams facilities, but notes that the new facilities will allow for increased manufacturing space for the company’s solutions and flavor divisions. Prinova’s quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory departments will also remain at the Carol Stream facility.
“This move is a huge milestone in our 40-year history. We’re growing at a fast pace while expanding our value-added distribution,” commented Don Thorp, president, Prinova, in a press release. “We now have a standalone facility that allows us to ship out our products on time, all the time.”
Added Guillermo Casanova, director of engineering, Prinova: “Prinova’s Hanover Park facility allows us to have complete control of our distribution business and allows us to improve the efficiency and responsiveness of our supply chain.”
