The company's New Jersey plant has obtained the certification for risk management plans, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.
Global ingredients supplier Naturex (Avignon, France) has achieved Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 for its U.S. plant in South Hackensack, New Jersey. FSSC 22000 certification combines criteria for ISO 22000 and ISO TS 22000-1 certification of good manufacturing practices and is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative.
“This certification has become a leading global reference that is internationally recognized and steered by an independent ISO committee,” says Naturex global quality assurance director Nicolas Souchon. “It is trusted and respected by all of the world’s largest food and beverage groups.”
Other Naturex plants are in the processing of applying for FSSC 22000 certification at this time.
