Nature*4*Science shows off garlic, saffron ingredients: SupplySide West 2023 Preview
The company will share the latest on its New-Gar garlic and Zaffronel saffron ingredients at the show.

Ingredients supplier Nature*4*Science (Anaheim Hills, CA) will showcase two of its most popular ingredients at booth #4317 at the SupplySide West trade show happening October 23-27, 2023, in Las Vegas.
The first ingredient is New-Gar, a garlic ingredient that is both nutraceutical- and pharmaceutical-grade. According to the company, New-Gar “is produced from a proprietary variety of mature, premium-grade garlic bulbs, Allium sativum L., specifically grown in three regions of China.” The company says New-Gar contains “certified levels” of active constituents allicin, alliin, thiosulfinate, gamma-glutamyl cysteine, and sulfur.
The second ingredient is Zaffronel, a 2%-safranal-standardized saffron extract. The company says it’s seen demand for Zaffronel increase exponentially in recent years, thanks to studies demonstrating Zaffronel's efficacy in supporting mental wellness and mood. The company adds that its ingredient is growing further “with the help of our strategic partner and saffron grower in Spain.”
