Maxx Performance (Roanoke, VA) has been granted SQF Level 2 certification under the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). With a score of 96/100, Maxx Performance received the highest possible rating of “excellent.”
SQF Level 2 certification is food safety and quality management standard benchmarked by that ensures food manufacturers are in line with FDA guidelines and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).
“We’ve always been committed to providing the highest quality, safest ingredients to our customers,” said Winston Samuels, president of Maxx Performance. “For us, the SQF certification reflects integrity and responsibility as core company values, and underscores how effective our proprietary processes are.”
In addition to receiving the certification, Maxx Performance also recently launched a new website.
