In light of the continuing global pandemic, Vitafoods Europe, which was postponed to take place in Geneva, Switzerland September 1-3, 2020, has been officially cancelled, and instead will transition into a large scale virtual event. Dubbed Vitafoods Virtual Expo, the large-scale digital event featuring enhanced matchmaking opportunities, video networking, and educational content will take place on September 7 to 11, 2020.
“Innovation and connection are critical to the Vitafoods community; the engagement in last month’s Vitafoods Digital Week demonstrated how the health and nutrition industry are seeking new ways to discover new products, foster connections and support their business,” said Chris Lee, managing director, Health and Nutrition Network at Informa Markets, in a press release. “The Vitafoods Virtual Expo will offer a new way to connect industry experts and support businesses to overcome challenges in this new environment today and building a footprint for everyone’s digital evolution in the future."
Vitafoods said it is currently working out the details for the transition and will share updates through its website and social media platforms in the coming weeks.
