Ingredient supplier HP Ingredients (Bradenton, FL) has established a new private-label program for its flagship ingredients, including LJ100 tongkat ali, ParActin Andrographis paniculata, Bergamonte citrus bergamot, and MaquiCare maqui berry extract. The program offers benefits such as the convenience of dragging and dropping a retailer’s logo into already templated, FDA-compliant labels; the option to use complementary marketing-support materials, including e-books, videos, and white papers; and the guarantee that products will be shipped ready for retail.
Order quantities start at 50 and exceed 500 bottles. Some of the revenue from the private-label program goes to the charity Vitamin Angels to help provide children suffering from malnutrition with health-critical vitamins and nutrients.
HP Ingredients founder and CEO Annie Eng said in a press release: “Have you ever felt annoyance that you educate customers about a particular ingredient or product, and then they go online and buy it from a major brand, or competitor, thus cutting you out of the sale? At HP Ingredients, we are like the marketing and product development GPS that guides you to meet your business goals, sales, profits, and customer satisfaction. We also provide you with common denominators of sustainability, inclusivity (vegetarian capsules, non-GMO, minimal excipients, kosher, halal ingredients, etc.).” She also cited Nielsen data indicating that, across 60 countries, private-label products continue gaining market share.
