The Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3 (GOED; Salt Lake City) has named Aldo Bernasconi, PhD, its director of information and research. Bernasconi will contribute data used in GOED’s data analysis and consumer research surveys, as well as its market research on omega-3s, ultimately helping to update and improve the association’s consumer products and scientific research databases.
Bernasconi has a PhD in mathematics and has experience doing environmental modeling with the Chilean government, as well as computer and database programming. He specializes in bioinformatics and biostatistics and was previously a research associate at the University of Utah.
