The Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED) has launched the GOED Proud Member logo. While not a certification program or a product quality seal, the GOED Proud Member logo is an indication of a company’s commitment to ethical business practices and the manufacturing of quality omega-3 products.
In order to carry the logo, GOED member are required to adhere to the GOED Code of Ethics and Business Practices, their products must adhere to GOED’s Voluntary Monograph, and all products must meet applicable laws and regulations in the market in which the product is sold, and members must maintain records of product compliance.
So far, the only company approved to carry the logo is Trident Seafoods Corporation for its product Pure Alaska Omega-3 500 mg EPA+DHA.
