Frutarom Health (Haifa District, Israel), a division of International Flavors & Fragrances Inc., will release a new range of Organic SoyLife Complex soy isoflavones, which has been granted BE-BIO-01 organic certification by Certisys. SoyLife Complex is sourced from a selected soy variety that is naturally rich in isoflavones, and is produced from the soy germ, further enhancing the isoflavone concentration. Using the soy germs is also highly sustainable because it is the part of the soybean that is not used in soy-milk production, reducing waste.
“With the introduction of the organic label, we believe we have an ingredient that fulfills many current demands of consumers who are putting increasing value on trust and transparency when making their purchasing decisions,” said Laetitia Petrussa, PhD, product manager for Frutarom Health, in a press release.
“SoyLife ingredients have been the leader isoflavone products for more than 15 years, and have also been a major contributor to the scientific understanding of the tremendous health benefits of soy isoflavones,” adds Petrussa. The soy isoflavone ingredients have been demonstrated in research to alleviate menopausal symptoms, support gut health and skin health. Over 35 proprietary scientific studies have confirmed the safety and efficacy of SoyLife ingredients, says the firm.
SoyLife is also vegan, kosher, and halal, suitable for all clean label formulations.
