Flavorchem recently announced a new pilot canning line service offering.

In a recent press release, Flavorchem, a global flavor and ingredient supplier, reported that the company's pilot plant facility was expanding into pilot canning services.
“Designed to meet the evolving needs of beverage and nutritional brands, our small-batch canning line offers cost-efficient production, ensures faster speed to market with scalable capabilities, and provides expert support for quality assurance and regulatory compliance,” said Blake Wester, manager of innovation and technology, in the press release.
The new canning line will be able to meet business needs through offering a variety of labeling options as well as low minimum bottling requirements. Flavorchem offers, “flexibility with packaging options, trial runs, and small-batch production to help brands adapt quickly to market demands.”
According to the press release, additional services Flavorchem offers include:
Sample Prototypes: The small-scale canning line enables the creation of sample prototypes. The prototypes are great for engaging investors, market testing, focus groups, tradeshows, and prospective buyers.
Processing Options: The company offers a range of processing capabilities that include carbonation (CO₂ injection), cold fill, nitrogen dosing, and optional pasteurization.
Can Sizes: Available sizes include 8oz sleek, 12oz sleek, 12oz standard, and 16oz standard.
Types of Beverages We Run: Flavored sparkling water, soda, energy drinks, coffee, tea, and hard seltzer.
Formulation Services: Comprehensive turnkey beverage development services.
Additionally, the pilot plant will be able to assist customer needs through a variety of services including thermal processing options. This will help brands be able to play around and test extracts, flavors, and other ingredients on a smaller scale before ramping up to full production.
