The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt trade shows as Informa Markets announces the postponement of Natural Products Expo West (NPEW) and SupplySide East (SSE). At the end of September, New Hope Network, a subsidiary of Informa Markets, announced that the trade show previously scheduled for March 2021 in Anaheim, CA, would now be taking place from May 24-27, 2021. This means the trade show will have a new day pattern, taking place from Monday through Thursday, and concluding in advance of the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
On October 6, Informa Markets announced that SupplySide East, previously scheduled for April 2021, would now be taking place June 22-23, 2021. The trade show will remain at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, NJ. “While we’re optimistic for the recovery of our country in the wake of the pandemic, we believe the best decision for our industry is to reschedule SupplySide East 2021 to June allowing further time for increased health and safety,” said Jon Benninger, vice president and market leader for SupplySide, in a press release. “Our focus will continue to be the health and safety of our community and supporting the many businesses and people who make up this great industry.”
