CBDent, a toothpaste featuring CBD, was designed by dentists using vegan and Leaping Bunny-certified, cruelty-free ingredients, including nano-hydroxyapatite and xylitol. According to the company, these ingredients are backed by science and eliminate the need for flouride, SLS, gluten, and other chemicals.
According to the company, research shows that nano-hydroxyapatite, naturally found in the enamel of your teeth, re-mineralizes better than fluoride. It’s the healthy alternative that gives your mouth the building blocks it needs to get the job done. Xylitol, a natural sugar commonly found in birch trees, can’t be used by bacteria for energy, and therefore cannot survive. It eliminates bacteria’s chance to develop acidic byproducts, which are ultimately responsible for the breakdown of tooth structure leading to cavities. When it comes to the star ingredient CBD, an abundance of research supports its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and analgesic properties.
