Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes (Kennesaw, GA) now has Australia’s Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) Certification at its Kennesaw facility. This demonstrates that Deerland has manufacturing management practices and systems in that are in compliance with manufacturing standards established by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing. With an existing certification renewal at Deerland’s Forsyth, MO facility and a mutual recognition agreement with Australia at the newly acquired Denmark-based Bifodan A/S facility, all of Deerland’s facilities are now TGA certified.
TGA certification is also recognized and accepted by other governments worldwide. “This achievement is a key milestone for Deerland and is reflective of our entire team’s commitment to quality,” said Scott Ravech, CEO of Deerland, in a press release.
“The TGA audits are on par with U.S. pharmaceutical audits,” adds Hope Hanley, vice president of quality and regulatory affairs at Deerland. “They perform a stringent evaluation of the manufacturing facility, engineering, cleanliness, SOPs, and Quality Systems to ensure product integrity.”
