Corn Products International (Westchester, IL) has signed an agreement with Galam Group (Menashe, Israel) to market its Enliten brand stevia (Rebaudioside A) across Europe, pending expanded European approval of the natural sweetener.
Galam is a supplier of fructose and sweetener blends to Israel and other parts of Europe. The company has several European affiliates capable of developing varied sweetener solutions.
“This agreement with Galam Group will allow us to reach food and beverage manufacturers in these key markets with more customized solutions with our Enliten product,” said Fernando Cuccioli, senior director for processed foods for Corn Products International. “Galam’s strong presence and blending facilities in Europe and Israel will help ensure customers throughout these markets have access to superior stevia formulations and sweetener blends.”
