Lonza (Basel, Switzerland) will showcase technology to coat capsules with naturally derived flavors and aromas. At March’s Natural Products Expo West trade show in Anaheim, CA, Booth #3705, the company will demonstrate how these coatings can enhance the consumer’s experience and enable brands to create on-trend and standout supplements.
Another new introduction at the show will be Capsugel Wave technology for liquid-filled capsules. The technology enables supplement brands to simultaneously deliver oil- and water-based ingredients in one capsule. In addition, Lonza will discuss trends in plant-based capsules and showcase its Plantcaps capsule line.
It will also discuss new research on its UC-II undenatured type II collagen, strengthening evidence of its benefits for joint health and mobility.
