Charles Ross & Son Co. (Hauppauge, NY) has completed a large order for 51 high-speed dispersers, which have been installed at a multinational company’s two facilities, the firm said.
According to the firm, the dispersers included in the order are suited for different size batches of up to 75 gallons and are equipped with motors ranging from 2 to 7.5 horsepower. All dispersers are floor-mounted and supplied with the following features: disc-type saw-tooth blade, stainless-steel 304 wetted parts, foot-mounted flameproof motor, hydraulic lift power pack, speed controlled through a pulley and V-belt system, flameproof limit switches to prevent operation of the mixer while in the raised position, clamping device to secure mix vessel during mixing.
