BioCell’s flagship ingredient, BioCell Collagen, has received halal certifications from the Islamic Society of the Washington Area (ISWA) and Halal Quality Control in Germany.

Collagen supplier BioCell Technology (Newport Beach, CA) announced that it has received two halal certifications for its flagship healthy-aging ingredient BioCell Collagen. BioCell Collagen has received halal certifications from the Islamic Society of the Washington Area (ISWA) and Halal Quality Control in Germany.
In a press statement from the company, Suhail Ishaq, president, BioCell, stated: “We are pleased to now offer finished-goods manufacturers choices to meet the needs of their consumers with this additional grade of BioCell Collagen.” He added that growing global consumer demand for collagen ingredients made it possible for the company to seek and obtain certifications from ISWA and Halal Quality Control.
In addition to BioCell Collagen, the company also offers BioCell Collagen CG-WS, a liquid for cosmetic application.
