Equipment and Mixing Specialist Charles Ross Announces New Wireless Control System
The company says that the Ross SysCon Control Panels are now offered with wireless connection; users will be able to access the PLC system on tablets, laptops, and smartphones via Ethernet, WLAN, or Bluetooth.

Ross SysCon, the controls division of equipment and mixing specialist Charles Ross & Son Company (Hauppauge, NY), recently unveiled a new wireless control system. The company says that the Ross SysCon Control Panels are now offered with wireless connection; users will be able to access the PLC system on tablets, laptops, and smartphones via Ethernet, WLAN, or Bluetooth.
Ross says that, as part of the controls package, it can supply an “intrinsically safe tablet enabling end users to control the panel from non-hazardous and hazardous locations, including Class 1 Division 1.” The tablet has a 100-meter range and a 12-hour battery life, giving operators the necessary time and mobility to complete tasks.
The control panel features offered include a fan and ventilation kit, light tree with alarm functionality, color touchscreen, and HMI and USB ports for CSV data retrieval.
