Women in Nutraceuticals (Chandler, AZ), a nonprofit group spearheaded by global nutraceutical leaders, will host a networking event called “Gender Equity in Nutraceuticals” during the upcoming Natural Products Expo West trade show in March in Anaheim, CA. The networking event will take place on Thursday, March 9, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM PST, at the Convention Center Arena Plaza. The event is open to all show attendees, alongside the WIN board, sponsors, and members.
“Women In Nutraceuticals (WIN) is a nonprofit organization focused on unlocking the potential of women,” the organization states. “The nonprofit organization is igniting a movement to build support for women across the nutraceutical supply chain to help increase the percentage of women holding leadership roles, funding for female-led businesses, and women’s participation in research.”
“The reception to WIN since we launched a few months ago has been overwhelmingly positive from sponsors and members alike,” said WIN's board chair, Karen E. Todd, vice president of global brand marketing, Kyowa Hakko (New York City), in a press release. “It’s evident from the support for our gender parity mission that WIN is viewed as a positive addition to the industry.”
