Nutrition bar contract manufacturer VSI says it has begun operations at its new manufacturing facility in Leerdam, the Netherlands. With this latest of three plants, the company says its total production capacity now stands at up to 250 million bars annually. The Leerdam site is said to offer new technology and two new production lines.
“By being able to offer higher quantities, we also hope to grow in other markets outside of Europe,” said company CEO Gerard Janssens. The firm is already a leader in the EU bar market.
