Ingredients supplier Vitiva (Markovci, Slovenia) has announced a new collaboration with Naturamed, a biotech company based in Jerusalem that focuses on extracting health-targeting compounds from plant materials, particularly those providing benefits for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Vitiva will manufacture Naturamed's products and market them to the U.S. and Europe markets through its distribution channels.
“We are extremely pleased with this new joint adventure with Naturamed,” said Ohad Cohen, CEO of Vitiva. “It will open new horizons for both companies and will help complete Vitiva's food supplement portfolio. Our goal in this market is to develop innovative yet traditional supplements for assisting…acute [health] problems.”
Vitiva provides application-specific solutions based on natural extracts for the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries.
