Green coffee bean extract's popularity has soared in North America; now, the company hopes to build the same awareness in Europe.
Naturex (Avignon, France) promoted its Svetol decaffeinated green coffee bean extract aimed at weight management. According to the company, the past year has seen the popularity of green coffee bean extract skyrocket in North America; now, the company hopes to build the same awareness in Europe.
The firm says Svetol is clinically proven to inhibit glucose-6-phosphatase and increase the rate of fat release from adipose tissue-a unique mechanism that results in effective weight management.
Antoine Dauby, marketing director, said, “Svetol is a real success story for Naturex. Even though it is an ingredient, it has managed to gain a very high level of recognition among consumers across North America. We’re confident Svetol presents a huge opportunity for companies in Europe, too, and we’re delighted to be highlighting its benefits and potential at Vitafoods.”
Also at the show, the company debuted a new range of drinkable dietary supplement concepts featuring the brand’s active ingredients: Sharpen Your Mind, Coach Your Body, Balance Your Life, and Boost Your Vitality. The firm says all ingredients included are now on the EU’s Article 13.1 list of 222 approved general function claims.
