Nutritional Outlook magazine and World Health Store, the first foreign-owned and –managed health store company in China, have joined the U.S.-China Health Products Association.
The association is the only U.S.-based nonprofit association working in China. It was established by Jeff Crowther and founding members Jarrow Formulas and NSF International, with the goal of working toward a more open regulatory environment in China, increasing dietary supplement and natural product exports to China, and creating a safer, more transparent supply chain through work with NSF International.
The World Health Store is managed by representatives from Australia, the United States, and Brazil. It currently sells and distributes more than 500 individual products through its retail stores and wholesale accounts across China. More than half of those products are imported from the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and other regions foreign to China.
