Univar acquires ingredients distributor ChemSol Group, expanding presence in Central America

Univar Solutions Inc. (Downers Grove, IL) has acquired ChemSol Group, an ingredients and specialty chemicals distributor operating in Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, and Honduras. The acquisition expands Univar’s presence in Central America. Univar serves key growth markets such as beauty and personal care, pharmaceutical excipients, and food, among others.
