The Dietary Supplements Quality Collaborative (DSQC; Washington, D.C.) appointed Liz Richardson and Steve Mister to the DSQC Steering Committee as chair and vice chair, respectively. Term length for each position will be one year.
Richardson is the project director for health care products at The Pew Charitable Trusts, and Mister is the president and CEO of the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN). Under their leadership, the DSQC will continue its work in 2022 to communicate on its core policy priorities: mandatory product listings for on-market dietary supplements, strengthening and clarifying the FDA’s jurisdiction over products illegally marketed as dietary supplements, and to sufficiently fund the Office of Dietary Supplement Programs.
