The company is offering discounts for its seven-month PharmaCare tooling maintenance program.
Maintaining dietary supplement manufacturing equipment is critical, and UK-based tablet-compression-tooling supplier I Holland is providing new motivation to its clients to stay up to date with equipment maintenance. In 2023, the company is offering significant savings to customers who participate in the company’s PharmaCare tool-maintenance program.
The PharmaCare tool-maintenance program is a seven-month maintenance program addressing equipment issues such as ultrasonic cleaners, training, MF polishers, and more.
The company noted in a press release, “85% of punch and die problems can be traced back to poor handling and aftercare procedures. This alarming figure highlights why the correct maintenance steps are integral to obtaining the maximum life from tooling.”
It added: “The application of a tool-maintenance program is essential to mass-produce quality tablets quickly and in the most cost-effective way. Unfortunately, punches and dies are often viewed as consumable items that are easily replaced. However, the cost of replacement tooling and potential lost productivity increases overall expenses and substantially affects a business’s bottom line."
