The ingredient is a patent-pending combination of a specific form of L-arabinose and chromium. It is said to significantly lower glucose levels in the body after intake of excessive sugar and help consumers maintain healthy blood glucose levels.
Additionally, the company discussed the new Pomanox standardized pomegranate ingredient from sister company American Ingredients. The ingredient stems from a partnership with Spain-based firm Probeltebio. In addition to reducing markers of inflammation and increasing the body’s antioxidant production, the company says Pomanox also acts as a prebiotic to improve regularity, and supports eye health.
