Herring roe appears to be an under-utilized omega-3 source.
During your walkabout at SupplySideWest, visit Scoular and Arctic Nutrition to learn about their new DHA-rich source of omega-3 phospholipids, Romega. Chief science officer Alvin Berger, PhD, will be on hand to discuss Romega’s clinical studies, including one trial showing its promise for relieving symptoms of severe psoriasis.
Romega is sourced from the roe of Norwegian Spring spawning herring, something the company says is an under-utilized byproduct. The ingredient is certified for sustainability by the Marine Stewardship Council. Romega provides 225 mg/g of choline and 200 mg/g of omega-3 DHA.
