A new startup called Space Shaker (Chicago, IL) has introduced the first subscription model for protein delivery, it says. The Space Shaker Club program provides subscribers with pre-measured servings of whey protein in a unique collapsible bottle that is easy to carry in a bag or purse before it is time to mix. Each subscription plan comes with these collapsed, pre-loaded Space Shake GO bottles that are recyclable, but consumers who don’t want a subscription can also buy a reusable version-Space Shaker LUX-that can be used with their own preferred protein product.
The Space Shaker whey protein isolate is ultra-filtered. Each serving contains 35 g of protein with only 1 g of sugar and 1 g of fat. The protein is gluten free, banned-substance tested, and instantized for easy mixing. Subscriptions are customizable with options to purchase quantities of 12, 24, 36, or 48 Space Shaker GO bottles on a weekly or monthly basis, with 12 bottles per box. The firm also has a GO Recycle initiative to help turn used GO bottles into playground equipment in underprivileged communities, and a prepaid mailer bag will be included with each delivery for the return of used GO bottles.
