In a partnership with Elemend Health (Eden Prairie, MN), Stauber Performance Ingredients (Fullerton, CA) introduced HIgGH GOLD Colostrum 40, a highly concentrated colostrum ingredient for immune and digestive health with 40% immunoglobulin G (IgG), casein-free whey fractions including proline-rich polypeptides (6.5%) and lactoferrin (2%) that are captured through Elemend’s PathWhey technology, which removes casein and other non-immunological components.
"For over a decade, we have produced high-quality, antibody-rich colostrum whey to meet our customers' needs," said Rob Sheffer, president, and CEO for Elemend Health, in a press release. "Our background in colostrum has allowed us to create a product that helps with gut and immunity issues so that people can enjoy life more fully. We are delighted to partner with Stauber as our exclusive distributor of HIgGH GOLD to the human and pet food markets in the United States."
According to the company, HIgGH GOLD lowers the incidence of diarrhea and intestinal disturbances and supports restoring a healthy gastrointestinal tract and helps to maintain the gut’s epithelial barrier. “The significant quantities of naturally occurring Immunoglobulins, growth factors, and natural anti-microbial agents found in ‘HIgGH GOLD’ aid in healthy inflammatory responses, minimizing GI tract infections, promote muscle recovery, and help strengthen overall immunity,” added Becki Schwietz, product manager and director at Stauber. “This unique ingredient can be used in a variety of applications, from capsules to protein powders.”
