Marinova’s flagship fucoidan ingredients are certified organic.
Seaweed-ingredients supplier Marinova Pty Ltd. (Tasmania, Australia) has been named top organic innovator in the Australian Organic Industry Awards. The award recognizes the company for, among other things, its flagship fucoidan ingredients which are certified organic.
As Marinova explained in a press release, “Hosted by peak industry body Australian Organic Limited, the awards are now in their eighth year and have become a coveted prize and valued recognition of the powerful growth in the organic sector. This year’s awards featured two new categories, Brand of the Year and Innovation Award, in recognition of the trailblazing efforts of Australia producers introducing organic products.” Marinova received the Innovation Award.
In the press release, Marinova CEO and Managing Director Paul Garrott explained what’s special about the company’s extraction process. “Our unique Maritech extraction process utilizes advanced filtration technologies to separate and purify fucoidan without the use of harsh solvents and other chemicals typically used by other manufacturers. As a result of Marinova’s significant and ongoing investment in R&D, our Australian-made extracts stand alone as the world’s only high-purity, certified-organic fucoidan with global regulatory acceptance.”
Found naturally in brown seaweeds, fucoidans are bioactive compounds offering health benefits for immune support, gut and digestive health, and healthy aging.
