Sabinsa Corp. (East Windsor, NJ) has earned a U.S. patent for its combined formula of Saberry and Cococin. Saberry is a proprietary extract of amla fruit (Indian gooseberry), standardized for beta-glucogallin. Cococin is patented freeze-dried coconut water solids that are free of sugars and carbs. The formula is intended to protect the dermal papilla cells from stress signals.
