Anurag Pande, PhD, has been named vice president of scientific affairs for Sabinsa Corp.
Anurag Pande, PhD, has been named vice president of scientific affairs for Sabinsa Corp. (East Windsor, NJ). Most recently, Pande was based in Sabinsa Japan’s Tokyo office as senior technical manager, and before that, since 2004, he was a researcher for Sami Labs, Sabinsa’s parent company. Pande has a PhD in phytochemistry from RML Avadh University, as well as both a Master’s degree in science and a Bachelor’s degree in science from Lucknow University.
In other news, Sabinsa has donated ¥1,500,000 to the Asahi Shimbun Social Welfare Organization to benefit children who lost their parents in the earthquake and tsunami in Japan on March 11, 2011. Last May, the company donated ¥1,000,000 to the Japan Red Cross.
