Roquette (La Madeleine, France) introduced a new ingredient to its range of Nutralys pea proteins. Nutralys L85M allows customers to create plant-based meats with a lower salt content as to meet consumer demand for foods that allow them to manage daily sodium intake.
“Thanks to Nutralys L85M, consumers will continue to enjoy meat-alternative meals with great texture and taste while taking care of their sodium intake! The Nutralys range of protein ingredients makes it possible for our customers to develop new plant-based foods that are contributing to the emergence of a whole new gastronomy – a gastronomy that consumers are keen to explore”, explains Benjamin Voiry, Roquette’s head of marketing food, Europe and global marketing manager Savory, in a press release.
Nutralys L85M is immediately available in Europe, and will be available in the United States later in the year.
