TruHD helps reduce material-processing difficulties during high-speed capsule and tablet manufacturing.
RFI Ingredients (Orangeburg, NY) has launched a new dry granulation technology called TruHD that it says helps reduce material-processing difficulties during high-speed capsule and tablet manufacturing.
Because TruHD increases the density and flow of vitamin, mineral, and herbal powders, it also helps overcome any challenges encountered when packaging product into gusset bags, individual pouches, or canisters.
TruHD is available either directly from inventory or it can be customized to a customer’s specifications. Says the company, “RFI’s TruHD processed ingredients deliver manufacturing efficiencies and product versatility by optimizing particle size, density, and flow characteristics without altering the product’s potency or chemical composition.”
Jeff Wuagneux, CEO of RFI, said in a press release, “This new technology reduces mess, product losses, and improves packaging efficiencies. It is a gamechanger for our customers who want to take advantage of these benefits through our turnkey products utilizing this technology, such as our organic vegetable and fruit powders, herbal extracts, and protein and fermented amino acid powders.”
