Novel president Bob Green says Quinoasure is more cost-effective compared to other quinoa ingredients.
Quinoa powder is the newest ingredient Novel Ingredient Services (West Caldwell, NJ) is distributing exclusively in the United States. Quinoasure is the industry’s first instant, nutritional quinoa powder for food, beverages, and dietary supplements, the company says. Novel Ingredient can also provide the ingredient in Canada and Mexico.
“Quinoasure provides all of the exceptional nutritional benefits of quinoa in a form that offers greater nutritional value and potency, as well as improved digestibility and solubility,” the company says. The ingredient is offered in both conventional and organic versions, and is kosher certified.
Novel president Bob Green says Quinoasure is more cost-effective compared to other quinoa ingredients, stating that it takes 159 g of raw quinoa grain to equal the “biological value” of 100 g of Quinoasure. The ingredient has a low moisture content of 6-7%.
