Uncle Wally’s launches a line of probiotic muffins this month.
Uncle Wally’s launches a line of probiotic muffins this month. The company’s new Smart Portion Muffin Tops feature GanedenBC30, a heat-stable probiotic from Ganeden Labs (Cleveland). This is the first probiotic launch by Uncle Wally’s, which claims to be using the probiotic to differentiate itself from muffin competition.
GanedenBC30 is a patented probiotic supported by clinical trials on immune health and digestive health benefits. Ganeden Labs says its probiotic differs from other market options because it retains bioactivity through to the stomach.
Smart Portion Muffin Tops are described as being an excellent source of calcium, vitamin D, and fiber. Rollouts are planned for retailers in New York and New England.
