What could possibly make chocolate milk taste better? Try digestive and immune health benefits.
Such a chocolate milk is now possible, thanks to Ganeden Biotech Inc. (Cleveland). At this week's SupplySide West Show in Las Vegas, the probiotic specialist teamed up with Abunda Foods (Salt Lake City) to unveil MojoMilk: a chocolate milk with GanedenBC30.
GanedenBC30 is a patented strain of the probiotic bacteria Bacillus Coagulans GBI-30, 6086, a bacteria clinically proven to support a healthy digestive system and provide immune support. MojoMilk provides two billion of the active bacteria in a stick pack that can be added to a recommended 6-8 ounces of milk. Each stick pack contains 20 calories and 2 grams of sugar.
Ganeden Biotech Inc. has brought its probiotic to several other innovative products, including yogurt puffs. Once again, the market potential for probiotics continues.
