Alix Technologies, a division of Pharmachem Laboratories (Kearny, NJ), has received International Aloe Science Council (IASC) certification for its Salt Lake City, UT, facility, which specializes in beverage production. Certification indicates the facility’s manufacturing practices adhere to IASC standards.
“This [certification] means we are in control of the supply chain for aloe raw materials, and that we are capable of manufacturing beverages and personal care products meeting the exacting industry standards for Aloe vera products set by the IASC,” said Peter Hafermann, Alix’s president, in a press release.
In addition to beverages, Alix Technologies produces liquid nutritional formulas, cosmetics, and household and personal care products.
