Certification also indicates that Improve USA maintains long-term partnerships with other Fair Trade producers.
Pharmachem Laboratories Inc. (Kearny, NJ) and its Aloe vera subsidiary Improve USA have gained Fair Trade certification and Fair for Life Social certification from the Institute for Marketecology (IMO).
The certifications indicate Improve USA meets Fair Trade practices and maintains long-term partnerships with other Fair Trade producers. It also affirms the company provides good working conditions and responsible relationships with local communities.
“We are very proud to have received IMO certification for our Aloe vera operations. We intend to fully integrate all of our Aloe vera operations in the USA and Mexico into the Fair for Life programs through IMO,” said Improve USA president Peter Hafermann.
