PharmaChem Innovations has announced that it will be launching as an independent company following its acquisition from Ashland Inc. by Turnspire Capital Partners LLC. Ashland Inc.
PharmaChem Innovations (Kearny, NJ) has announced that it will be launching as an independent company following its acquisition from Ashland Inc. by Turnspire Capital Partners LLC. Ashland Inc. acquired PharmaChem Laboratories in May of 2017 who subsequently combined the company with its nutrition business which operated with the company’s Health and Wellness Unit.
PharmaChem has manufacturing facilities in New Jersey and Utah, as well as Tamaulipas, Mexico. According to the company, PharmaChem is able to manufacture a range of proprietary and private label products across many applications, including hydration, joint health, women’s and men’s health, as well as cardiovascular health products. Through its custom formulation and contract manufacturing services, PharmaChem is capable of designing formulas, sourcing ingredients, and finished product manufacturing.
Maurince Murphy, operating partner with Turnspire has been named executive chairman of board, and Jeff Rogers has been named interim chief executive officer. Most recently, Rogers was president and chief operating officer of Niacet, and has also held leadership position at Ashland, Lonza, AkzoNobel, and National Starch.

In addition to Murphy and Rogers, the company will be led by PharmaChem’s current management team.
