Trade association Organic & Natural Health Association (O&N Health; Washington, DC) has appointed a new president to its board of directors. Naomi Whittel, founder of Naomi Whittel Brands, now serves as board president, replacing attorney Todd Harrison of Venable LLP. Harrison will instead serve as O&N Health’s board counsel.
Whittel is described as a “serial entrepreneur, New York Times bestselling author, and respected thought leader in the health and wellness industry.” Whittel also serves as an advisory board member to The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation Corporate Citizenship Center.
Whittel now joins Karen Howard, CEO and executive director of O&N Health, in leading O&N Health. According to a press release, Whittel says her participation in O&N Health “stems from her passion for navigating and improving the supply chain.”
